1. Twickenham Historic District

The Twickenham Historic District has been listed on both the National Register of Historic Places and Statewide Registry of Important Agricultural Landmarks since 1979. It was named after John H. Twiggs who settled there in 1835. The district covers approximately 1 square mile and contains over 500 structures including homes, churches, schools, businesses, and public buildings. One structure within the historic district is the Old Stone House Museum where visitors can learn about life during the early settlement days.

2. Huntsville Botanical Garden

The Huntsville Botanical Gardens are home to more than 10,000 plants from around the world. The gardens also feature a butterfly garden, Japanese rock garden, children’s play area, and much more. 3. US Space and Rocket Centre

The US Space and Rocket Center has been dedicated to space exploration since its founding in 1976. It houses over 50 historic rockets from Mercury through Apollo. See them launch live and learn about their design and construction. You can also tour the Saturn V rocket, the world’s tallest and heaviest object ever lifted into orbit around Earth.

4. Southern Adventures
